This was a large front yard of all dead grass, my client wanted to remove her dead, thirsty lawn and install ALL rocks!  Instead, we decided to do a couple planting mounds and concentrate all the plants in those areas to keep the maintenance to a minimum for her, we also utilized all succulents so that the yard would be easy maintenance. We incorporated a dry river bed to help divert water away from the house and a gravel walk path to add interest to the front.  I was able to assist her through the process for the MWD Turf Replacement Program and help her to receive a cash rebate for taking out her lawn! The end result is a water-wise, beautiful and functional front yard with very little maintenance.
